Preamble

This documentation describes the usage of the central OAID Register and provides tips and suggestions. Endpoint descriptions can still be found directly in the API. The application of OAID and standards related to fiber optic networks are part of OFAA's open documentation platform.

OAID Register

The Open Access ID serves as the basis for communication between customers and companies, as well as between the layers of (open) fiber networks. Open Fiber Austria Association (OFAA) aims to increase the use of these fiber optic networks. The OAID is one of the central components for future standards and efficient processes.

yio gmbh operates the central OAID Register under the patronage of OFAA and based on the concepts developed by correlate analytics gmbh. In doing so, we support the establishment of open networks. The focus of the OAID Register is on a future-proof architecture and a reliable and robust operation.
